A Simple Single’s Introduction about Dating

Saturday, June 13th, 2009

Look, I’m not a spineless laid back man, lethargically occupied by going without a date every weekend. It’s unlikely readers haven’t heard me talk much about great dating and compatibility. Not a fan of the drama.

Idleness is an avoidable foreign condition and completely neglected in my playbook. Let me go on, Here’s the situation, I had to end a solid relationship that meant something to me but simply carried on to nowhere. I guess one could go on record saying its been years since I was dating. I’m missing the optimism of dating thru great expectations that came naturally before.

Single life has had its perks so far. It’s a given that I refuse to lounge about, peacefully watching Star Trek Enterprise on my big screen. The biggest factor behind this case of temporary dating boredom? We’re not in high school, and most ladies I meet at work are taken.

My one-time hunting friend, Andrew, who has never had dating lameness, told me he’s currently shooting from the same blind as I am. He introduced me to this Dallas dating service called Great Expectations. I enjoy introductions with quality women with similar interests. So I decided to make a change and I’m now a satisfied member.

Be honest, there ain’t room to be disappointed by going dateless if you haven’t even put yourself into the game. Just like our mentor and basketball coach Chris Smith repeated to no end with a smile, “If you don’t run you can’t score, turbo.”

Coach was crazy, and a little out of touch. But, he was on the money without being self-righteous. He was good humored. This amazing series of Dallas singles events I just went to could have blown the gipper’s mind.

Last night at a Great Expectations happy hour I shared a great evening with a few accomplished and desirable women that meet my expectations. I truthfully had a blast with a few terrific incredible men and women. Went home with a sweet farewell, and even came across some social networking connections for my job. I’m impressed.

Put yourself in the play. Can’t be happy if you don’t try. Take it from me, believe in your own great expectations for your dating life.

Cheers!

Free Article Directory in Australia

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

One of the most pivotal aspects of any web campaign is how do I come through in the major search engines. How do I have my site to rank substantially in Google?

One of the most powerful aspects of doing substantially better in the search engines (allowing for the fundamental principle suchlike excellent content are already in place) is pulling in links aimed at your website. You can bring this a couple of ways, some looked at positively by the serps and some not so favorably.

A trusted styles, that the search engine engineers think is tolerable is link building with articles.

Fundamentally this involves writing a sound article, rather about something from your target market, and then sending it to a free article directory.

You really cannot underestimate the seriousness of link building. If there is one signal that takes precedence to the search engines, by and large, it is links. Fine, there are piles of other signals, such as the domain name, but you are kidding if you suppose you are going to be listed well, and easily discovered, if you do not possess any links.

Building links with articles is easy. It is something the search engines say is okay. And, it adds value to the web, by providing valuable content that might be interesting or useful to users. The real question is what are you waiting for?

Medical Billing Company

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

There has been tremendous growth in the medical billing industry. Hospitals, clinics and private practice physicians do not have the time and often times lack the knowledge to properly bill for their services. In these cases, they use a medical billing company.

Medical billing is so much more than just sending out invoices for services rendered. They actually look at the total bill submitted by the doctor and will send in all the forms necessary. Next, they will look at each patient’s insurance to see what will be covered by insurance and what needs to be covered by the patient. Then the medical billing companies will make sure the insurance companies will reimburse the doctors for services rendered. They will even keep track of all the paperwork and conversations between insurance companies and patients.

One of the largest determinants of a medical billing salary is definitely the number of years experience that you have. According to PayScale, those with less than one year of experience make a median salary of $12.20 per hour. In contrast, those with twenty years or more experience make a median salary of $16.06 per hour. As experience increases, so does your salary.

Another way that you can increase both your job opportunities and your salary is to become certified. Certified medical billing specialists have more job opportunities since medical billing companies know that they have at least a certain level of skills. Becoming certified also usually leads to higher salaries.

Although a lot of ads tout the possibility of offering medical billing services from your home, it really isn’t all that easy to get started this way. It is best to start working for someone else, and over time you might be able to build up a client base or find a company that would allow you to work from home.

Interview with a “Video Virgin”

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

Shani Alexander is the founder of Relocations Made Easy (www.relocations-made-easy.com) which produces an interactive website and CDROM tool that advises people on how to make a stress free relocation to a new city.

To create her interactive product, Shani needed camera vision of herself explaining to viewers how the product worked in front of a cityscape backdrop.

We interviewed her to find out her experience of using a video production company for the first time.

1. Why did you decide that you needed a video component in your website tool?

I am selling a virtual personal service product and the video component was needed to introduce a real person from which my virtual product could springboard.

The video component showed a real person, a company owner. It gave the personal touch and introduced what the customer was going to receive from their purchase.

2. What were you looking for in a video production company?

I really needed a company that could understand what I was trying to achieve. I really needed them to get inside my head and make real what I was imagining, what I was dreaming up.

It had to be cost effective with no cost blowouts. It also needed to be applied to the media I was using – the internet and CDROM. I needed clear picture quality that could be viewed across those mediums without any picture quality loss.

3. How difficult was it to compare proposals between the four providers?

Everyone told me how it is difficult to compare. All the production houses said they could do the same thing, but the prices were extremely different.

When I spoke to Digicast they went to great lengths to explain the type of camera that they used. Whilst I would have liked to think that everyone could produce the same job, I realised that the big differences in prices reflected the different types of camera quality being used.

Digicast also took me on board as if I was a client already. They gave me suggestions about how to do the shoot the best way and started treating me like a client before I even made the decision to go with them. From there, we were able to develop a relationship and work together on the project.

4. As someone new to being filmed, how did you find your shoot?

I found it really long, really tiring and boring! I was really surprised at how dependent you are on the weather to be right – you have to keep waiting for the right light and the sky. It can add hours to the shoot.

Andrew Ross from Digicast who filmed me was incredibly professional. He’s passionate, technical and knows what he is doing and has to keep the poor person on the other end of the camera still interested. He did a good job managing that. I really thought he worked well with me as the presenter. Andrew got me to look at the vision on the shoot and gave me options as to how we could re-shoot it to make it better. He controlled everything but I didn’t feel like a pawn. His suggestions were worthwhile.

5. What did you learn about the television production process?

I really learnt something from it and I can now look at all the different shows on television and see how good, and bad, those presenters are. I have a healthy respect for an industry I took for granted before. It was a fantastic experience at the end of it all.

6. What advice would you give to anyone looking at starring in their own video?

I advise anyone who wants to take this on to do lots of preparation.

Digicast gave me some suggestions before the shoot about how I could get myself ready and get the most out of the day. I took those to heart and I did put a lot of preparation into the script. I re-edited the script, timed it, practised it and rehearsed it in front of a lot of people beforehand.

I even hired a professional to give me a training session on hand gestures and facial expressions. My preparation even extended to my personal grooming and I had my hair coloured beforehand and bought a new suit.

I also went to a lot of trouble to get the right location. We had to let the City of Melbourne know beforehand about the shoot. The liaising with the council was a much bigger component than I imagined. I checked out the site with a council employee and took some digital shots which I then emailed to Digicast. It was a real team effort to work out the right place to shoot.

7. Would you do it again?

You bet. I’m hoping I don’t need to, as I should get a few years of mileage out of it. After all, it was made to be timeless and dateless. But I’d do it again because I achieved what I set out to achieve. I’m very happy about the experience and I would do it again if I needed to.

Using Ad Tracking Tools

Friday, June 5th, 2009

You HAVE to know how well your ads are doing. You cannot just cast thousands of them into the wind and HOPE that maybe you will get the odd result. You must know where is good for your offer, which ads pull best, etc. You need to test and test some more.

Indiscriminate free advertising will not generate sufficient results for the amount of effort you’ll put in. It will get some results, but you’ll be working hard, not smart.

In order to not have to post ads 48 hours a day for 2 clicks in return, you must narrow it down by testing so that you can then spend your precious time concentrating on what works best.

So how do you test?

There’s lots of methods, but let me show you how to make use of some of the simplest online tracking tools for your URLs.

The first one I have been testing myself is the free service from LinkCounter.com http://www.linkcounter.com

Go there and set up a FREE account. You paste your “real” links (the web addresses you want people to actually go to) into their system and they give you a “new” link that you would publish in your ads. How easy can it get?

You can set up as many as you like and keep adding to them, as you wish. You only need one account to track multiple links, ads, websites, offers, affiliate schemes, whatever.

Every day, they send you a report by email that tells you how many clicks you got on each of the different links you set up.

Here’s an example from my report:

Link Title: EACZ Bravenet Classifieds Link URL: pub21.bravenet.com/classified/show.asp?usernum= 1800611284&cpv=1 Link : http://www.linkcounter.com/go.php?linkid=69653 Date: Clicks 2000-12-11 2

I gave it the title I wanted to see so that I could identify it. The Link URL: is the real one (online classifieds) and Link: is the one I publish, which is the one that 2 real live people actually clicked on that day. (Impressive eh?)

I can see several benefits and uses for this:

=> If you have a very long URL, it saves it getting chopped in half in a newsletter or any other email message as the original one in this example obviously would.

If it gets chopped, it won’t be “clickable”, which means to work someone would need to copy and paste it in bits into their browser. Yeah! You think so?

No-one bothers, because that takes too much effort. In reality, they will either click what comes in the first half ending up at the wrong place — usually the right place, but without your reference on, or more likely, they will just skip it altogether.

=> linkcounter.com is generic — it doesn’t identify your program so there is an element of “surprise” that will help you get the click. People don’t click if they think they’ve seen it before.

=> It’s cheat-proof. It is still a URL with a number on the end, but if anyone tries to take the numbers off this, they’ll just get an error or go to linkcounter. If they knock the numbers or reference off your affiliate URL, then they may still end up at the program, but you won’t earn the commission.

=> You will find out if anyone actually IS clicking!

Track a whole ad campaign

If you use different linkcounter links, for the same URL, but with different ads or for the same ads in different ezines, (give each one or “campaign” a title that you’ll remember), you’ll find out which ones work best so you know where to advertise again or if you should maybe “tweak” your ads for better results.

You can also use this on your website, but you don’t need to have one to use it. You can also enter an amount, say if you are in a program that pays you 10 cents per click and it will add them up so you can double-check this against your commission check.

This doesn’t mean you should NOT get your own website, domain and home on the web. If you have that already, then you can use this to see how many people are clicking away to certain links within your site, both internal or external. Your log files should tell you where people go internally, but if you don’t have them, here’s an alternative. Your log files don’t send you email each day as this does!

You’ll also find a similar concept at: http://www.roibot.com/

Or you can do your own ad tracking. At the most simple, give each campaign it’s own page with a (preferably invisible) counter on.

If you do have access to log files on your site, “key” your URLs with references of your choice so you can count the responses to each. Or set up different redirect pages for each ad to see which ones get hits. You can get the code for a redirect page, here: http://www.tucats-design.com/eacz/code.html

Just don’t leave it to chance, or you’ll spend more time chasing your own tail than actually making progress or PROFIT.

Millions of People Each and Every Week Prefer to Use Identical Lotto Numbers; Which in Many Lotteries Will Only Cover a Part of Any Possible Lotto Selection

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

Is it Possible to decrypt the code applying your own specific strategy or trust on an elottery syndicate to decide them on your behalf? We unrealistically like to believe that if we don’t do something or do it the wrong way that something bad may happen, in that event; if we miss doing our numbers they are sure to come up!

Millions of people every week prefer to use identical lotto numbers; quite often these are memorable dates, which in a lot of lottos will only cover a part of any potential lottery choices.

Being the one to decide on the lotto winning numbers is naturally something each and every committed player wishes they could do and as human beings, we have an innate bias against anything thats random, we all like some form of control and rules that make sense to us.

So your lotto number comes up more often; why should it come up again? its virtually impossible to pluck any set of lotto numbers that are more or less likely to win. All lotteries are a game of pure chance and each and every lottery number drawn is merely at random. So the bottom line is – no number is more random than the next.

If you take a look at the chances of probability, as one lotto number is drawn the likelihood of your chosen number being picked afterwards is slightly increased because the potential selection is reduced.

If you decide on the same numbers each week, remember they are still random lotto numbers and you stand just as much a probability of winning with those same numbers as with a lucky-dip option. However, if you use birthday numbers in a lotto draw your individual prospects of winning the lotto jackpot still stay the same but also your prospect of keeping the lottery jackpot to yourself is dramatically reduced because so many other people employ birthday numbers in their choices.

Applying the same lottery numbers will mean you would have to play 135,000 times to even have an evens chance of winning. Unfortunately, to win the lottery jackpot you just have roughly a 1 in 14 million prospect of being profitable; however we all reckon it could be us. Does that sound like a good possibility; would you be better off joining up to a lottery syndicate?

Discovering the Right Paint Sprayer

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

When picking a paint sprayer, there are many variant matters to look at. Such as type of usage, type of pump, sprays, and supplements. There are umpteen choices and it is principal to make sure you are well abreast before you purchase.

Almost all paint sprayers are given a yearly ranking on how many gallons it is designed to handle in a twelve month period. For example, the Titan XT330 and the Graco Magnum XR7 are designed to be used for about 300 gallons per year. These sprayers are great for handymen, general contractors, property managers, house owners, or for irregular use.

For more regular usage, the Graco 190ES or Titan XT440 may be your best pick. For use around 1500 gallons per year. These are great for contractors who paint on a more habitual basis or for families that want to improve their swiftness. I personally choose the Titan XT440, but the Graco 190ES is very fine as well.

It is also significant to determine what spray tips you to make use of. Tip size may determine how promptly you can close a project. Tip size can also affect several characters of paints and finishes. Thin finishes such as lacquers and varnishes take a smaller tip while heavier finishes such as latex paints will need a bigger tip.

On That Point, there is a whole host of other accessories accessible such as the Titan TR10 Telescopic Roller. When overspray is unbearable, using this accessory will make rolling a room or house much quicker. There are no trays or dipping to deal with.

Also, there are several types of spray guns such as the Titan LX60, the Titan LX-05, and the Maxum II Spray Gun. Each gun has pros and cons and it is essential to research each one to find out which will most suitably fit your requires.
